TheraPlan SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the use of SMS text messaging services provided through the TheraPlan platform. TheraPlan enables healthcare providers to send appointment-related notifications to patients via SMS. 

By opting in to receive SMS messages, you agree to these Terms. 

Program Description 

TheraPlan allows healthcare providers using the TheraPlan EMR system to send patients administrative SMS notifications related to healthcare appointments. 

Messages may include: 

  • Appointment reminders 
  • Appointment confirmations 
  • Appointment cancellation or rescheduling notifications 
  • Administrative scheduling updates 

These messages are transactional and informational only

TheraPlan does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. 

Opt-In Consent 

Patients receive SMS messages only after providing express consent to their healthcare provider. 

Consent may be obtained through: 

  • Patient registration forms 
  • Online appointment scheduling 
  • Patient intake paperwork 
  • Patient portal enrollment 

By providing a mobile number and opting in, the patient agrees to receive SMS notifications from their healthcare provider through the TheraPlan platform. 

Message frequency varies depending on appointment activity but typically includes: 

  • One or more reminders prior to an appointment 
  • Appointment confirmations 
  • Notifications if an appointment is rescheduled or canceled 

Typical frequency is 1–3 messages per appointment. 

Opt-Out Instructions 

Recipients may opt out of SMS messaging at any time. 

To stop receiving messages: 

Reply STOP to any SMS message. 

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

or contact your healthcare provider directly. 

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and mobile plan. 

TheraPlan and your healthcare provider are not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. 

Privacy 

TheraPlan respects your privacy. Information used for SMS messaging is handled according to the TheraPlan Privacy Policy

Phone numbers collected for SMS communication will not be sold or used for marketing purposes.
